Nigerian dancer remains on bail as court sets new dates for plea hearing and trial
LONDON, United Kingdom — September 15, 2026: The UK criminal case involving Nigerian dancer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been adjourned following Tuesday’s proceedings at Snaresbrook Crown Court in London.
The case was scheduled for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing on September 15, but no plea was entered after the proceedings could not move forward as planned.
The court fixed February 8, 2027, for the rescheduled plea and trial preparation hearing, while a trial has been listed for March 8, 2027.
Poco Lee faces five sexual-offence charges: one count of attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
The entertainer, who was previously granted bail, remains on bail as the case continues.
The latest court appearance comes amid social media speculation over the status of the case following reports about his release from custody. The proceedings confirm that the case remains active before the UK courts.
Poco Lee has not been convicted of any offence. The charges remain allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
